Blocking https site
How do I block an https site? There's a number of proxy sites I've come across, where the http site is blocked (already) because of my filtering options. But the http*s* site is not blocked.
Should https sites be blocked already if the http version of the site is blocked?
Thanks for your help and comments.

DNS and domains are unrelated to the protocol (HTTP or HTTPS or what else). Therefore blocking the domain example.com will block access to http://example.com/ and https://example.com/ and ftp://example.com/ either way.
If one is not blocked for you, you most likely forgot to flush both, your local resolver cache and your browser cache, after the settings change. This is mandatory for your changes to take effect immediately, else you will be served out of your caches for a longer time.

Can you verify your answer? It does NOT block https site when I give a domain name, like "www.redditrewind.com"

It doesn't block https://www.facebook.com

Oops, is your message here a follow up from https://support.opendns.com/entries/67531540 ?
You should really continue there, not in other threads. And I said there what I expect you to do, didn't I? You had to post the output of this diagnostic command.
