A little back story:
I've set up my own server (Windows Server Enterprise 2008). I have it set up as an Active Directory Domain Services (Domain Controller), a DHCP Server, a DNS Server, and a Web Server running IIS7. As a residential customer, I cannot get a static WAN IP address from my ISP. However, I set my router to give my server a static LAN IP address. I have four computers connected to my home domain and have several domain users utilizing the domain through Group Policy.
My ultimate goal is to use my server to host my own website (or multiple websites once I am ready). I currently have a basic test site accessible through localhost. In addition, I have successfully configured port forwarding so that I can access my test site through the internet using my public IP address.
1) How do I properly use OpenDNS so that my public IP address is more static than I have through my ISP?
2) Additionally, how do I properly configure OpenDNS so that visitors can access my site without knowing my public or private IP addresses?
Let me know if you need any additional info.
