Why can't I block www.break.com.

Most likely because you didn't flush both, your local resolver cache and your browser cache, after the settings change?
You visited www.break.com before, and now you're always served of your caches, until they expire.

Good, then you need to post the complete output of the following commands here:
nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
nslookup break.com.
nslookup www.break.com.Also, tell us what browser you're using.

Oops, iOS, this is new information. You need a "normal" computer in the same network to execute these commands. Maybe a jailbroken iOS device.
