Open DNS Updater on a Tablet PC cause problems?

I installed the Open DNS updater on my tablet to keep my account updated with the most recent IP address for my home network.  If I take my tablet to work and connect to another network will it send my work's IP address and then leave my home network unprotected until I return home?

    Yes, the updater will work wherever you are and register these networks' IP addresses with your home network. Therefore try to not install the updater on a roaming device. If you got no other chance to use an updater for your purpose, you may want to use Marc's Updater (http://updater.marc-hoersken.de/) instead where you have a certain control over out of what network (router IP address and/or WLAN SSID) the updater takes action.
