Remote setup of OpenDNS
I might need to set up a client with OpenDNS. The intent would be to monitor which websites a user is visiting on an iPad (iPads don't have keystroke loggers, so this is the best answer I can provide. If I'm wrong, please correct me.)
It is my understanding that in order for OpenDNS to work proplerly, it will have to be setup from my clients home address...from a PC on his home network.. is that correct?

This is not what can be captured. OpenDNS as DNS service just sees domain names from the DNS queries, from all devices and networking applications using OpenDNS, so probably from the whole network if configured on the router. OpenDNS does know nothing about URLs, keywords, images, videos, web pages or any other such objects.

There may be far more better tools like the browser history or services like Google webhistory, Norton Family parental control and more.

Yes and no. The IP address update itself must come out of the network where its IP address is to be used for. But if you are able to remotely login to a computer within this network, you can indeed do this remotely.
