open dns not working
OpenDNS was working wonderfully until recently. I added the IP3 address updated and it indeed updated but nothing is blocked. (Using OpenDNS Home).
I've checked that my router has the correct address, it does. I checked that OpenDNS has the router's adderss, it does. I flushed the caches..
What next?
-
Copy & paste the complete plain text output of the following commands here (trailing dots are part of the command):
nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
nslookup www.exampleadultsite.com.
-
same with me here.
i setup my router ( tp link TL-WR841N) but it is not working! i dont know what is missing.
C:\Users\Almubarak>nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.

You're using the OpenDNS FamilyShield, so adult sites would be blocked. Check it at http://welcome.opendns.com/ and http://www.exampleadultsite.com/
""id 0""
Your IP address 176.28.78.116 is not registered with any OpenDNS network. https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/
Therefore OpenDNS cannot associate your DNS lookups with your individual dashboard settings, and your settings cannot take effect.
