Server time outs

Hello I am new and having problems with the internet.  I am getting lots of server time outs I would power of the wireless router and all is fine. Then minutes later while watching a video is will stop and I would then try to reload the page but I get server time out again. Power off the router and all is fine for 10 15 min. Very frustrating when I am trying to watch a video or just surfing the web  when all i get is server time outs! Any help would be great.

  Timeouts with connections are unrelated to DNS. When it comes to a connection, DNS is already over and gone.

  You'll have to look into the quality of your internet connection where your ISP is in charge for, and into the quality of your router and/or modem.

  Yes but I am using open dns  set it up the other day . I thought Open dns was supposed to be stable?

  I agree with Rotblitz; what you've described is not DNS related.

  Yes.  Any evidence that it is not, i.e. that you have troubles with DNS queries?  As I said, connectivity is unrelated to DNS and OpenDNS.

  Can you post a screen shot with this symptom with everything visible, full URL, error message, etc?

  Sure. Next time it happens. I reboot modem and router and seems ok for now. But I will get it again.
