    Hello,

A list of the Netgear routers that come bundled with the LPC system can be found here: http://netgear.com/lpc#five

The Netgear router has to have the public facing IP address in order for its filtering to work; in the setup as you've described, the modem your friend currently has would have to be bridged.

Does it need to be internet facing for the openDNS built in package to work?

I should be able to set the DHCP DNS servers to OpenDNS which is the address the client computers would get from the second wireless router.

Bridging is the first option, but I am trying to think of the backup plan.

Yes, the Netgear has to have the public facing IP address in order to authenticate with our servers.

Keep in mind an enterprise licence is needed for using OpenDNS for a commercial establishment.

Also for a Netgear router with LPC?  I don't think so...
