blocking facebook pages
Is there a way to use openDNS (or any other service) to block specific facebook profiles not all of facebook as a whole? I know that Facebook now has a way to do that from within your facebook account. However all my daughter has to do is simply go to the settings and unblock the profiles I have blocked because she can see a list of who I have blocked. That feature is great for pesky ex-boyfriends but pretty useless for parental control. That's why I turned to OpenDNS because I wanted to block it in such a way that it's not so easy to unblock. But at the same time blocking all of Facebook.com is not an option. I just need to block specific profile pages.

I'm afraid OpenDNS is not able to solve your parental control concerns. In short, OpenDNS can block facebook.com (or rather *.facebook.com) but cannot block www.facebook.com/profiles.i.prefer.she.doesnt.see -- thats just how DNS works.

Dear OpenDNS team,
You are doing a great job but really I am suffering the same issue EXACTLY !
I need to filter s specific facebook page . Only a single page of undesired person who is making me a lot of trouble.
I extremely appreciate if you find me a way to do so.
Hope someone can help me..

First of all, I'm a user like you, not OpenDNS staff.
As you can see above, it is technically not possible to block a specific Facebook page with OpenDNS without blocking Facebook as a whole.
If you want to block a specific Facebook page or Facebook user, you do this within Facebook. The feature is available, so use it!
