I tried OpenDns this morning but lost external ip address in afternoon

I have Time Warner Cable /RR with a network of Win7 and WinXp computers. Today I setup OpenDns on a WinXp desktop and Win7 laptop which has a wireless connection through a router after which everything was working perfectly in A.M. This afternoon however I lost my connection and external IP address so I reverted back to TWC 's DNS. Both computers were setup to OpenDns in connection's TCP IPV 4 properties; the router's DNS was not configured for Open Dns and left alone. Is there something I am not aware.of that TWC does that causes my loss of connectivity with OpenDns? Any suggestions are welcome.Thanks.

  It seems you are behind a dynamic IP address, but you don't run an Updater to automatically keep your IP address information updated with OpenDNS.
