Did you tell it DD-WRT?  It's their description, not OpenDNS'.

Thanks for your quick response. How does one tell them? Can you direct me to a forum sponsored by them? I didn't see any.

Weird...they have a "login/create account" link but you can't create an account, only log in. And I don't see any way to contact a webmaster or leave comments. Do you have contact with them to tell them these problems?

Not me.  I don't use DD-WRT.  I'm just an OpenDNS user.  Anyone else?

Are you actually using DD-WRT on your router?  If not then their instructions won't be very useful.

Thank you for the comment, Brian. User "papertrail" on forums.opendns.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=14356 gave the advice to go to the link above. He/she did mention "if you have dd-wrt fw installed on your router," but being completely new to the subject, I was left to assume that the instructions therein should be available on some OpenDNS screen. Live and learn to do the digging yourself. It would have been less confusing if the comment had also given the reference to the installation information.

I was able to install the firmware successfully and the wireless functions of my network were working just fine. However, after putting the OpenDNS settings in the router, I can't even browse to the router's control panel. Any ideas what's going on and what to do about it?

Check that you followed the right instructions: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/OpenDNS

"I can't even browse to the router's control panel."

    See http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Web_interface
What exactly happens if you try this?
