Can't get Open DNS to work

I have the dlink dir-615. Followed the steps for it: changed primary dns and secondary dns servers to Open dns values, flushed the dns resolver cache and deleted web browser cache and it still doesn't work. I also tried to run the following:

nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com from the prompt command but got

Server unknown

IP address 192.168.0.1

unknown can't find debug.opendns.com

I did notice that there is an option in dlink above use unicasting called dhcp routing option I checked it and unchecked and it did not help....

So what am I doing wrong? I would have thought this should be a simple thing to set-up....

It seems your ISP redirects your DNS queries to their own DNS service. Check it:

nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com. 208.67.220.220

If your ISP redirects your DNS lookups, you can try the dnscrypt-proxy (http://dnscrypt.org) to circumvent this restriction.
