  OpenDNS cannot match anything internal information with your OpenDNS settings.  It's your public IP address of your internet connection which is used to associate your DNS queries against your OpenDNS settings.  Therefore you must register your IP address information with your OpenDNS network, and you must run an Updater in case your IP address is dynamic.
