Why can I still see adult content?

I just started with OpenDNS. I believe I followed all steps to setting it up. Why can I still see adult content?

  This can have many reasons.

  1. Are you using OpenDNS at all?  http://welcome.opendns.com/ 
     If not, you didn't configure the OpenDNS resolver addresses correctly, or your ISP prevents you from using 3rd party DNS.
  2. Only if you're using OpenDNS, is your IP address information correctly registered with OpenDNS?  https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ 
     If not, register it correctly and run an Updater further on if you are behind a dynamic IP address.
  3. Only if yes to the questions before, did you flush both, your local resolver cache and your browser cache?

     You must do this after any OpenDNS related settings changes, else your settings do not take effect immediately, but delayed.
