Is teamviewer a proxy?

    Teamviewer is a kind of VPN, but to reach dedicated sites, not the web or internet as a whole.  However the deciated sites could be proxies.

    Someone on your network is using Teamviewer. Ask why? Generally it's used to connect between computers you own. For example, you're away from home, and use your laptop to connect with your home desktop.

    Or maybe you're helping Aunt Sallee with her computer, so you connect remotely to her box and show her how to install her new printer.

    Generally it's harmless, and it does create a lot of external network traffic
