OpenDns not working with mac airport base station and century link
Hello,
So I've had Open DNS for a while now when my internet provider was Cox high speed internet. We have been using it in our home through an Apple airport extreme base station. We just changed internet providers and are now with Century Link. Since we've changed to century link Open DNS has not been able to work at all. I've tried setting it up using the same username and everything on the dashboard looks like its working. However, when I go to the test page I get the Oops...Dns is not working. message. Its not blocking any of the sites either. Its been frustrating trying to get it to work. I've installed the dynamic updater, no luck. I've tried deleting the old local system and making it from scratch again, no luck. Everything looks right on the airport base station as far as the dns addresses. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Hello,
This appears that the issue may be that the router you had configured for OpenDNS was removed when the new CenturyLink router was added. The solution is likely that the new CenturyLink router needs to be configured for OpenDNS. To do so, please visit https://store.opendns.com/setup/router to configure your new router. Many CenturyLink routers will have two places that can have DNS entries added, please only add it into the DHCP one and not the WAN one (please submit screenshots to your support ticket if you are unsure).
