Dropped downloads

    You can confirm or rule out our DNS servers being the reason for the dropped downloads by reconfiguring the DNS settings of a computer you're using to your ISP's. If the download still hangs with the new DNS servers, it's not us.

    Thanks Patrick. I have confirmed that the problem persists, even if I change my router settings back to those of my ISP, so it must be a problem with the router itself. At least I know I can stay with OpenDNS and just concentrate on trying to find the problem (we have additional problems inasmuch that my son's x-box now states that it cannot connect to the DCHP server (or words to that effect), even though the router shows it's connected and assigned an IP (192.168.1.12, the value I set up the router to use for that particular device).
