It can take up to three minutes for white/black lists to take effect?  You may also have to flush your DNS cache.

My issue is this should not have happened at all!

I have also noticed that you need to close your browser and reopen it.

I tried it on 4 browsers and it says it's phishing.  What's up?

I dunno know, sites categorized as phishing may be treated differently, I changed my dns settings even if it is a temporary change.  I used googles DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

If this happens, do the following:

    1. Add paypal.com (not just the www subdomain!) to your "never block" list.
    2. As you wait for three minutes, flush your caches:  https://support.opendns.com/entries/26336865

That's it!  Everything else is nonsense.

You may also want to open a support ticket to get the root cause rectified by OpenDNS.

A CNAME record associated with www.paypal.com was erroneously blocked for phishing causing the issue you experienced.

We've fixed this error. If you are still seeing an issue, please open a support ticket.
