DNS Updater not working?
I have a network set up with Opendns which doesn't seem to work any more.
I'm using Opendns updater 2.2.1, when I open it it says in red at bottom:
"Looks like there's no internet connectivity"
For ip address, it's blank, but other things are right like opendns account email.

Ensure that you have disabled "Send Dns-O-Matic updates" in the Updater.
Does the following command return your public IP address?
nslookup myip.opendns.com.
What happens if you do a manual update like this?
https://updates.opendns.com/nic/update?hostname=YOURNETWORKLABEL
(Replace YOURNETWORKLABEL by your LABEL from https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/)

I have the same problem with the OpenDNS Updater v2.2.1 where the IP Address is empty and there is a message that reads "Looks like there's no internet connectivity."
I discovered that the problem is caused by a VPN connection that I have with my work. When I disconnect from my VPN, the OpenDNS Updater v2.2.1 display's my correct public IP Address and the "Looks like there's no internet connectivity." message goes away. The VPN client that I am using is Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Version 4.9.00086.
FYI - These are the nslookup results I get:
When connected to my VPN:
nslookup myip.opendns.com
Server: server.myworkdomain.de
Address: 192.168.1.100
Name: myip.opendns.comWhen NOT connected to my VPN:
nslookup myip.opendns.com
Server: UnKnown
Address: 10.10.6.1
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: myip.opendns.com
Address: 64.1.39.17Notice that when I am connected to the VPN, a Public IP Address is not defined. This is probably the reason why I get the "Looks like there's no internet connectivity." message.
I suppose the only workaround at this point is that I will have to remember to periodically click the "Update now" button (on the OpenDNS Updater interface) when I am not connected to my VPN.
