You people from OpenDNS are treating us like morons!  I'm so pissed that you can't take a few seconds to answer this one question!  You keep saying to look at the answers above and there are no answers above!  You give links to crap that don't answer the question.  Here's a link you provided: https://support.opendns.com/entries/60217234  If I had on my NetGear Genie what you are showing then I wouldn't be typing this and neither would anyone else.  THERE IS NOT STATUS PAGE to click on!!!

On Netgear Genie I can see on the left column, Parental Controls.  I also see it in the middle section and it says Parental Controls with a graphic of a family. Just below that it says STATUS: ENABLED.  Clicking on either one of them does NOT bring up a page like you show in the link.  It takes me to the OpenDNS page: Live Parental Controls. There is nothing on that page that says STATUS.  There is nothing on that page that allows me to click on to disable Parental Controls.

I think there are many different styles of Netgear Genie pages perhaps based on the router? Mine is an R7000. My Firmware Version is V1.04.30_1.167 which is up to date.  If there are many different styles then why can't you people acknowledge that, and provide instructions for each type of Genie page?  Instead, you treat people who already read down the list, didn't find their answer and you comment that the answer is something that they need to read in the previous questions.  How stupid do you think people are?  If it's not there it's not there.

So I ask: How do you disable Parental Controls?

It's so nice to know that you consider all OpenDNS customers and employees as morons and that you are our intellectual superior.

Since the product is called called NETGEAR Genie you should go to them for technical support. After all, they are the ones who create the Genie software and firmware, not OpenDNS. Perhaps there you'll find someone you consider up to your mental level.

I'd offer to tell you how to find the Netgear support pages and information, but I'm too much of a moron to figure that out, so you'll need to do it on your own.
