Unblock youtube but then still found youtube being blocked
I did the steps below:
1. Login Netgear parental control
2. Select Custom filtering, select Video Sharing to block youtube.com
3. In Firefox / Chrome (Windows 7), found www,.youtube.com is blocked (normal.)
4. In the Netgear Parental control, select filtering as "None".
5. Immediate, in Firefox / Chrom, found www.youtube.com is still blocked. Same even clear browser cache and "ipconfig /flushdns" in windows command prompt.
6. In Windows command prompt, nslookup www.youtube.com still show IP 67.215.65.130
7. I can restore by switch back to use my ISP's DNS server.
May I know what's wrong here ? How long would the unblocking or changes in Netgear parental control take effect ?

Hi whpoon,
Your new filtering settings should only take around 3 min to take effect. Please open a support ticket at support.opendns.com so we can take a look.

If you want to verify that you are using the correct address that Open DNS is configured for then goto http://www.ipchicken.com/ and see if the IP Address on the screen matches the one you have set for open DNS

No need to visit a third party site. All can be seen and fixed at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/

This thread is about YouTube, not about Gmail. Why did you post here nevertheless?
Whatever, you most likely have Gmail blocked with your category blocking. Uncheck the related categories.
"gmail is not block in DNS account. I already check."
How did you check this?
Or add the Gmail domain names to your whitelist: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20483/

Still no success? Then post the complete plain text output of the following commands here:
nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
nslookup mail.google.com.
nslookup accounts.google.com.
