Why are parental controls being disabled in management utility?
I enable live parental controls with the OpenDNS management utility for Windows. I come back a few days later and find that the controls are now disabled. The computer where utility is installed is secure. Is it possible another computer on network installed utility and is able to enable/disable controls? I have a very clever 17 yr old son and would really like to understand if it is possible he has found some way to disable these controls.

"Are there other scenarios?"
A broken router? Or a router with a bug in the firmware? Refer to Negear support.
"My understanding from previous questions is that your servers base enable / disable based on MAC of Netgear router, not IP addr."
No, my servers are unrelated to Netgear routers. I'm a user like you. But yes, LPC is based on the device ID, not the IP address as with normal OpenDNS.
