I cant install router software cause my computer can not detect the router.

  I always get the error message "no adapter" when trying to install Netgear software. Referring to network adapter. I'm using a WNDR3300 Netgear router and Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit operating system.

  Execute "ipconfig" in the command prompt window. The "Default Gateway" IP address is your router's.

  "I always get the error message "no adapter" when trying to install Netgear software."

  You do know that this is an OpenDNS forum, not a Netgear forum, do you?
