Cant get Netgear LPC utility to work

    Hello

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulties. Can you please confirm if you have downloaded the NETGEAR Genie or the Management Utility. The Genie is the only currently supported program and it is available from http://www.netgear.com/genie. Please download it and configure your NETGEAR Live Parental Controls (LPC) through the Genie application.

    i have downloaded the genie now how ever i get the same error regarding firmware

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update. If the Genie and LPC Management Utility are unable to connect to the router, this typically means that either you are not connected to the router, should connect with an Ethernet cable directly to the router and try again, or are not able to access routerlogin.net (please test in a browser) 

    If the above does not work, the NETGEAR Genie application itself is supported by NETGEAR, and NETGEAR support will be much better able to answer your questions regarding getting connected to your router with the Genie. They are reachable 24/7 at http://support.netgear.com/for_home/default.aspx. Please be sure to mention that you have been in contact with OpenDNS as well.
