Installed Management Utility, setup LPC, chaos follows.
So I setup my LPC for my Netgear R7000, according to my router and OpenDNS this is a supported device. Suddenly my internet refuses to work bouncing between having access and not but never actually connecting. Couldn't access anything accept from my phone, so I disabled all filters on LPC and made sure Netgear Genie was installed and running properly. Restarted everyting (router, modem, computer). Still no working network. Plug in my computer to ethernet port, now I have internet. Said "forget this, I'm getting rid of this junk" and opened the management utility. Apparently after 10 minutes my router is no longer a supported router for LPC. This message is displayed through both the netgear genie program and the OpenDNS management utility.
Attempting to be patient but I'm utterly confused as to how 10 minutes ago I was supported and now I'm not. Please someone help.

Do not run Management Utility and Netgear Genie, but decide which one you want to run. Both programs do the same in principle for enabling and disabling LPC.
The following diagnostic command shows the LPC relevant parameters and if it's enabled.
nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.

The only supported tool at the moment is the Netgear Genie app. You can configure your OpenDNS settings via netgear.opendns.com, but otherwise should be using Genie to configure your router. The Management Utility has been deprecated and should not be used.
