Netgear Genie Parental Controls stopped working D6300

    I do see the D6300 on the list of supported routers:, if you are using the mobile app please try using the desktop version of Genie to access this device.  Are you able to log into and view this device?

    I am using the desktop app.

    When I run it, it says that the D6300 is not supported.

    But the router IS on the supported list AND it has been working fine for ages.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but the problem persists.

    There should be a "router" link.

    If your router is registered @mick.rose, you'll see it in a list at If it's not there, the NETGEAR router isn't yet registered. 

    For some devices, the Genie ( must be the Desktop app to register - and mobile apps do not support the routers. Please ensure that you are registering with the Genie on a PC or Mac.
