    If you forgot your username and password how were you able to sign into this forum to post your message?

     

    At the top of the OpenDNS sign in page there should be a link that says something like "forgot password". Click on that, and follow the prompts. It should ask you for your email address (or if your account is old enough email address or username), after you provide that you should receive an email to continue the process or resetting your password.

    Did you forget your username and password to your NETGEAR Genie app, or are you unable to login to the OpenDNS dashboard at www.opendns.com?

    If you have forgotten your username and password to your OpenDNS account, then the method that mattwilson9090 suggested would work - you can send yourself a password reset link using the "forgot your password?" link on the login screen.

    If you can't remember the email address you registered your OpenDNS account with, you can go ahead and use a new email address to create a new account.

    Hello everybody ! I am in the same situation, I have twoo OpenDNS Personal accounts (one for each Public IP adress), they are working fine, I can access the first account using my Login and password but I can't remember the Login (e-mail address) of the second account. I tried the "Forgot your password" but when I type the e-mail address and click on "Reset Password" it says : "We couldn't find a user for the specified email address."

    In the second OpenDNS account Dashboard / My Account / Email Settings the "Primary Email Adress" is different to the "Network Feedback Email Adress" (I use the same "Network Feedback Email Adress" for both OpenDNS accounts).

    Finaly all I remember for the second OpenDNS account is :

    1. The Public IP Adress (a static IP)
    2. The Network Feedback Email Adress

    I tried to solve the problem by creating a new OpenDNS Account but when I typed the Public IP Address and do ADD THIS NETWORK it says : "Network already exist". It seems like I can not Add this IP to another account as an existing account is already using it.

    How to recover my Login ?

    You open a support ticket with the details of your account, so that OpenDNS staff can provide you with your e-mail address or user name.
