Allowing a specific facebook url?
Hi. We block facebook at home but wanted to allow a specific page to ours kids martial arts school page. If I put in something like "never block" facebook.com/ourclub it comes up as invalid domain. Is there a way to block facebook.com but allow the /... ?
Apologize if this is in the wrong section. I use netgear and this about parental controls so thought this was a good place to ask.
Thanks

OpenDNS and all of it's features and services are based upon DNS, which only knows about domain names, not URL's, pages, websites, content or anything else that is not strictly a domain name. The message you received about it not being a valid domain is correct since what you were entering was a partial URL, not a domain name.
There might be some features in the Netgear firmware itself that would allow you to do this, but it can't be done with the OpenDNS tools. Note, if you can do this with the Netgear firmware you'll need to remove the OpenDNS blacklisting of facebook.com in order for it to work.
