    Hi Rotblitz,

Thanks for your response, I have read nearly every post on the internet regarding this issue and have subsequently logged a support request #178895 5 days ago, according to the two forum posts above. Along with that I have tried everything to resolve the issue before posting here.

It seems the forums have a much faster turn around time.

    Thanks

The forums cannot resolve this issue for you since it is populated by users and we do not have access to the back end information required to resolve this. Since rotblitz knew none of that additional information he responded in the manner he did.

Your best recourse is to follow up on the original support ticket, and to open a new one that references the original one.

And this is the problem with most people on forums, they are very quick to comment without much useful information and forget to be respectful to other members. Rather than making assumptions that people are lazy and don't read or do their own research. My last resort is to ask others for assistance in resolving my technical issues. I have actually logged 3 support tickets and have started to become a little frustrated and desperate to have this resolved. If it wasn't for clients hounding me I probably wouldn't worry about the feature.

Hopefully OpenDNS moderate the forums and can offer some insightful information, considering this issue has now been around for over 12 months.

The simple solution to this issue is to allow or provide an interface for end users to register their own devices on netgear.opendns.com
