The device is registered with another OpenDNS user
I have registered OpenDNS account on my PC. But when I try to install Netgear Genie on my Android phone, I kept getting
message"The device is registered with another OpenDNS user" when I try to use my existing account login detail. I tried to register a new username and new email, i get message saying invalid email. Do I or can I de-register my PC device so I can have it on my mobile Android device? if so, How do I go about doing it please?
Thanks so much
Jeff

"I have registered OpenDNS account on my PC."
Hardly. You cannot register OpenDNS or Netgear LPC on a device. These services reside in the cloud and not on your devices.
Also, why don't you simply follow the instructions from the link you posted? This is the way to go! There's no other choice.

Thank you for your reply roblitz. Perhaps i'm not so clear about the register side of things. I have tried the link and got no where. I simply like to have it on my mobile phone as suppose to having it currantly on my PC. But I cannot. it won't allow me to because of my PC OpenDNS account which recognised it as another device. I cannot even try to open new account with ofther email address as my Netgear unit won't allow it.
