How do I resolve problem with Bypass Account

I created a Bypass account called Parents. I forgot the password for the bypass account. I logged into OpenDNS to change my password to the Bypass Account. I ultimately removed the bypass account from my computer. be Deleting it in OpenDNS.

However, when I go into Netgear genie to change the Parental Controls Filtering to None from Default Level on Router, it appears to make the change. When i go back into the particular device in Genie, it still indicated Default Level on Router.

When I use the Android version of Netgear genie and I attempt the same change, I receive an error message: "failed to set parental controls". So I am stuck. Even when I uninstall genie from my PC that has this problem, I still cannot change the filtering to None, using my Android device.

I even attempted to add back the bypass account and log into the bypass account via genie. However, it does not recognize the password as if it is still looking for the original password and not the new password. Even adding a bypass account with a different name (e.g. Dad instead of Parents), it still does not recognize the password I enter for the bypass account.

How can I solve this issue. Thanks.

It seems that somebody must check your account. Therefore you open a support ticket.
