Parent Filtering Level on a Device always change "automatically"

Hi,

I have setup my parent filter level to "custom", where the "gaming" is included.   This is my only filtering level (default).  

For the devices I want to skip the filtering level, I change their level to "none" - such as my DVR, printer, etc.  For my teen's desktop, I change the level to "default".  

This works perfectly fine and prevent them from accessing the gaming sites.   However, it is odd that the filtering level on their desktop (one specific device) would change "automatically" to "none".    I have made sure only I have access to the netgear genie and it is password protected.   So I am not sure how this could happen.  

Could it be because we are using the dynamic IP assigning so that when his IP changes, the filter level changes itself?

  It looks like that your problem is really account specific, so you'll want to open a support ticket to let staff examine your account.  We other users here cannot do this.

  And no, IP address changes should not cause this phenomenon.
