- After uninstalling Dnscrypt 0.0.6, I installed 1.3.3, running "dnscrypt-proxy --install" command in admin mode.
- Changed my IPV4 DNS Server address to 127.0.0.1.
- Rebooted my notebook.
- Checked my OpenDNS and it's functioning properly.
- Windows Task Manager says that a dnscrypt-proxy service is running. "nslookup - type=txt debug.opendns.com" also shows that Dnscrypt is enabled.
My problem is, that I no longer see a "system tray icon" (like i had with 0.0.6) and so I am not able to see a button that DnsCrypt is enabled. But without a tray icon to click on or a GUI, I also cannot tell it to *NOT* "fall back on insecure" (like I could with 0.0.6).
I would very much appreciate any suggestions in getting to where this automatically runs on every bootup (the way 0.0.6 did).
