need a way to block pages without it saying "Blocked due to content"

    I have no idea how the default OpenDNS block pages lead to shame or blame, but on your dashboard settings, on the customization tab you can already customize the block page messages. In the various paid products you can further customize the block pages, some to the point of being able to redirect them to any webpage of your own choosing or creation.

    You do not need an option, you just need to use the existing one!  This is clearly with DNS methods.

    Associate IP address 0.0.0.0 with block.opendns.com on your internal DNS server or your local hosts files, and you exactly get what you're looking for.

    However, I cannot guarantee that "the person doesn't feel shamed and the person who is trying to protect their family isn't blamed".  LOL.
