Modifying filtering for device
I have tried configuring a specific filtering level of a wireless device using the Netgear Genie app. I see the device and try to modify the filtering level. After selecting apply, I go back to check the filtering level and see that is reset to the generic "Default level on router" setting. How can I set specific filtering levels for specific devices?
Here is a response I saw from a different thread about the same problem.
"I have not figured out how to make it work. NETGEAR genie (version 2.4.12) allows users to setup different levels of filtering for individual devices. This can be done from the "Network Map" tab. You can click on one of the devices on the map and then change the "Parental Controls Filtering" setting. The options are: Default level on router, Bypass login, None, Minimum, Low, Moderate, High."

Where is the Genie app installed, the one you use to modify the filtering level for devices?
Is it on iOS: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29912/
or desktop: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29913/What kind of device do you want to change the filtering level for?
Also, according to the KB articles I linked to, this feature seems to be supported for router models R8300 and R8500 only. Do you have one of those?
