I had a Cincinnati Bell Router with OpenDNS successfully deployed but switched to Time Warner. Now I have an ARRIS TH863 from TW and had to add an extender from ASUS (R-AC3100). Both are currently accessible with identical passwords. How do I adjust my OpenDNS account to apply router-based (not device-based) protection throughout? Apparently, Arris routers do not allow over ride of their DNS (true for this model???)?

If you're using an OpenDNS Home version, you can have one configuration set per public IP address, not per router or device. This can be clearly seen if you visit https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ where networks are associated with IP addresses, not with any routers/devices.

Then you must use/add a router where you can configure the OpenDNS resolver addresses, or you configure them on the devices.
