    Also tried to select the custom level blocking and simply unchecked all selections so in effect I would have blocking enabled but nothing would be blocked.  Saved current filter levels but FB is still blocked.

    Did you do all these changes through the Netgear Genie app?  If not, you should do it this way!

    Just tried to add FB to a whitelist (allow always) and it looks like it took effect yet FB is still being blocked.

    Did you flush both, your local resolver cache and your browser cache?  If not, settings changes will become effective quite belated, because you will be served out of your caches.

    Thanks rotblitz, it worked.  I had to start the app from the desktop due to the app being loaded with a click while logged in to the router it didn't have all the functionality that it had initially.  It is possible for me to have 3 different PC windows open with different functionality.  Hard to explain but you jogged my memory from when I installed it.
