Is your dashboard different?  For me it's clear enough.

    I suggest you get new eye-glasses. ;-)

I do get that page eventually, but I have to jump through several hoops. That isn't how it looks on my page when I go to the "dashboard" tab. My "dashboard" page itself just shows a line that says "personal networks," and then one has to go through two different steps from that page to get to the page you're showing. I figured it out, but it's just not user friendly.

Look, I'm recommending OpenDNS to mothers who are way less tech savvy even than I am as a tool they can use for free to at least put in some Internet protection for their families against porn, etc. None of us are IT professionals. I'm lucky if they even know how to log into their router to change the settings! The harder it is to use the service, the less I feel I can recommend it unless I literally go to their houses to do it for them. Same deal for my other suggestion on here concerning the default as zero filtering.

"I have to jump through several hoops."

It seems that's your problem, not the mothers'.

Dashboard > Settings (tab or link) > Settings for: (select from drop-down) > And you're there!

These are two steps, selecting settings and the network, not several.  What step would you like to skip?

"Same deal for my other suggestion on here concerning the default as zero filtering."

To be handled in your other thread.

As I said, two steps. We agree on that. Well, I'd like there to be a tab always visible on the dashboard for something like "set content filtering settings for your networks." If they want to take account of the fact that you have several networks, it would be more user friendly to have that tab visible at all times and to select the network second, after saying you want to do your content settings, rather than selecting the network first in order to *find* the tab for editing content settings.

Sure, now that I know that's where it is, it's easy. When you are doing this for the first time and have just gone through all the configuration steps, it can be a total mystery. Like, where the heck do I go to set up the content settings for this? I had no reason to think that clicking and then hovering would bring up that tab. This wasn't just known by ESP. I really had to look around for a while before I stumbled upon it.

If you didn't find it to be a problem at first, shrug. I did. That's why this is a suggestion. Don't be pushy about it. The OpenDNS people can take it or leave it as they prefer.

"to be a tab always visible on the dashboard for something like "set content filtering settings for your networks.""

I see now, you want to have this drop down menu from https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ already on https://dashboard.opendns.com/ like this:

That would be a start. For those of us (like me) even more challenged in this area, they could even make a separate, *permanently visible tab* that said something like, "HEY DUMMY THIS IS WHERE YOU GO TO DO YOUR CONTENT FILTERING SETTINGS FOR YOUR NETWORKS"

Okay, I'm being slightly humorous, but only slightly.

LOL.  Not that you're "sligthly humorous" only, you also seem to think that most people are fools or otherwise impacted, especially mothers...  You remind me a bit with Tronald Dump...

The heading Settings above the drop-down would then have to be Settings (like content filtering).

I was a fool in exactly this way, and not really ashamed to admit it. Seriously, I had a heck of a time finding it yesterday, never having done it before.

I am in total agreement here.  My first PC was an altair 8800 that I assembled with soldering pencil in 1975.  35 minutes ago I was considering subscribing to the paid version of OPENDNS; Now I've been searching for this content filtering tab for 30 minutes and its starting to seriously PISS ME OFF!!!!  It used to be readily available, now whats the big deal that you need to make it nearly impossible to find!  JERKS!!!  I'll just dump this crap-fest and start telling everyone else how completely asinine you nimrods have become!  Don't come and tell me to get glasses either, because I have almost 40 years of experience in personal and mainframe computers.  I hate bullcrap like this!  This is the insulting kind of stuff that google would pull!

I SWEAR TO GOD I CAN'T FIND THE CONTENT FILTERING TAB ANYMORE.  ITS JUST GONE AND I AM READY TO COMPLETELY BLOW MY STACK!  THIS IS JUST TOTALLY FRUSTRATING!  I DON'T HAVE TIME RIGHT NOW TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT AND CHANGE MY ROUTER SETTINGS BUT I CERTAINLY WILL BE DOING SO, BECAUSE THIS IS JUST INSULTING!  DO YOU PEOPLE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!?  UNBELIEVABLE!!

Shouting doesn't help.  You better post a screen shot of what you're seeing.  I can advice further, then.
