OpenDNS working on Macs, but not iOS devices
OpenDNS working on Macs, but not iOS devices.
OpenDNS Updater shows that we are using OpenDNS. http://welcome.opendns.com and internetbadguys.com both act as expected on multiple Macs, but not iOS devices.
Seems to be the same problem as in the original post here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255172210
Specifics for me:
- At the router I have IPv6 disabled.
- I checked with my ISP to make sure they're not "hijacking" any DNS settings on their side.
- Using Eero routers and a non-ISP-owned modem.
- The Eero routers had to have "Eero Plus" disabled to use OpenDNS. While it's a tradeoff, it's worth it to have OpenDNS's more granular filtering and reporting.
- Ran the Diagnostic test, but the device I'm running it from does have Covenant Eyes installed, FYI. Diagnostic ID 1846209. I couldn't see a link or any other info to share test results.
While I could adjust individual settings on the devices, I want content filtering on for ALL devices on my network, including guest devices (kids sleepovers, etc.).
Any help is appreciated!
