    Hello,

Since OpenDNS cannot change how IP's are distributed and updated by the ISP, we suggest that you look into installing a dynamic IP updater:

What crap are you telling us here?  Didn't know that you have to run an Updater if you've got a dynamic IP address?

You may even be able to use your router's built-in DDNS update client for this purpose if it supports one of OpenDNS, DNS-O-Matic or "custom".

Based on the comment,  @dgiampietro is probably confused by not knowing the difference between an Internet Service Provider (providing a connection to the Internet) and  DNS  (managing domain names and Internet IP addresses).

Without a clear understanding of "access to the Internet" and DNS "the domain name to IP address management service" individuals won't comprehend why OpenDNS is a better resource than their ISP (service provider) DNS service.
