I finally figured out how to change the DNS lookup addresses on the Centurylink C2100T modem (by Technicolor). It is not easy or intuitive to find, but this is definitely working now. Here's how:
1. Go to this page on Centurylink's help system. It's a step-by-step instruction on changing PPPoE (which we're not actually doing).
2. Select the first option "PPPoE with Dynamic IP". On step six, on my modem the "auto" mode was already selecting PPPoE, but set this field to PPPoE which opened up subsequent field options.
3. Skip to step nine, and change it from Dynamic to Static DNS. Copy in the OpenDNS lookup addresses (18.104.22.168 and 22.214.171.124), save it, and it 's done.
Hope this helps. Took me a long time to figure this out, and CenturyLink phone help was useless.
