    If you also have IPv6 connectivity, you must also configure the IPv6 DNS settings on the iPhone with one or more of the following resolvers:
    ::ffff:d043:dede   ::ffff:d043:dcdc   ::ffff:d043:dedc   ::ffff:d043:dcde

    I disabled ipV6 a while back. Didn’t think I needed it.

    Then it becomes more complex.  Download an app like "ISC Dig" from the app store and query "debug.opendns.com txt".  Then forward the complete text output to another app like Notes and copy & paste it to here.

    It would be better to see the complete output.  But "@192.168.1.254" shows what DNS server address is being used by your iPhone: it is your router's IP address, not an OpenDNS address.  Ensure that you have only OpenDNS addresses configured as DNS servers on your iPhone.

    As you can see from your output, you're using your router, not OpenDNS:

        ;; SERVER: 192.168.1.254#53(192.168.1.254)

    I have tried to reproduce this, and I could not find any problem.

    This setting

    results in this output (relevant information in bold):

    And this is an OpenDNS resolver address.
