all.dnsomatic.com not updating

hello - since apr 17, i have not been able to update using hostname=all.dnsomatic.com.

i first noticed this problem after updating router firmware. i spent hours rolling back firmware, exchanging routers. rebooting cable modem to get new IP addresses - to no avail.

i have checked, rechecked, changed, updated all host accounts and passwords in my dnsomatic profile.

the url https://username:password@updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?hostname=all.dnsomatic.com

does not update anything, although it returns a 'good XXX.XX.XX.XXX'

hostname= (blank) does not work

specific hostnames do work

i am getting no email updates about my account status, even though i have checked the option to receive all updates.

can you please check my account? thank you

yes, i saw that. that is a work-around. i wanted dnsomatic support to recognized that it is not an isolated issue for one person.

According to their response to my ticket it is not an individual account issue. As I said, 2nd level support are looking after it, and they have asked for more information from me.

followup -

as of today. all.dnsomatic.com is updating all hosts. i did nothing on my end.

if the dnsomatic team 'fixed' something - thank you!

if not - there's an elusive demon.

Yes, I raised a DDNS update via https://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update - and it worked. My ticket has still not been updated though.
