Questions about Comcast use of Static IP

    1. No, in case you used and (FamilyShield) only.
    2. You create an account and manage your dashboard.
    3. (This is not "your account".  I'm a user like you.)
      You sign up at in case you are a home user.
      Umbrella is the equivalent service for corporations and organizations.
    4. This is wrong.  OpenDNS requires in no way a static IP address.  However, your router may have a related limitation that you can enter DNS server addresses only in conjunction with a static IP address.  Time for another router.
