Dnsomatic stopped working with ydns.io
I sent several email on the bottom of the page, but nobody contacted be. All my ydns.io domain started not updating before some days ago.
The error is:
Below is the most recent response from your yDNS service registered at DNS-O-Matic.

In addition check to see that your yDNS settings are correct at https://ydns.eu.

The problem is on dnsomatic side. Please fix it.

Nobody of us other users here can fix anything at DNS-O-Matic. If you want to talk to Support, you raise a ticket, link "Submit a request" above.
Whatever, the messages 'Your username is ''' and "Missing Authorization header" indicate that you did something wrong with entering your DNS-O-Matic user name or your yDNS API username as specified by yDNS. What update client do you use to send your updates to DNS-O-Matic?

Revisiting this issue.
I started getting those errors from DNS-O-Matic for yDNS at about the same time, and opened a ticket. After a bit of back and forth, that ticket got escalated to "the engineers" but nothing was fixed.
Two years later, I opened another ticket, asking about the status, and got a similar reply.
Then these tickets (and some of the other tickets I opened) got silently deleted from the system. Not closed, deleted.
The take away:
1) The problem was, and still is, on the DNS-O-Matic side.
2) The OpenDNS customer support is adversarial. Unfortunately, I see no way to complain about that, and as far as I know, it could as well be Cisco's policy.

Same issue. API credentials copied from yDNS. Given in the hostname. But always: yDNS response for 'xyz.ydns.eu': Missing Authorization header.
yDNS also offers a simple Update URL without the need of authentication. That works fine but can't be included in DNS-O-Matic.
