Did you enter the domains economically, i.e. to the broadest possible level?  E.g. instead of a.b.example.com and c.b.example.com you entered just b.example.com which would cover this and all subdomains.

Else, OpenDNS Home VIP has 50 entries instead of 25.  Cisco Umbrella has nearly unlimited slots.

I think you are smart enough to realize that I want to block:

    r4---sn-4g5edn7y.googlevideo.com
    and keep googlevideo.com
how much does the umbrella cost?
    thank you for helping!

Well, this domain r4---sn-4g5edn7y.googlevideo.com doesn't look like an ad hosting domain, just like a normal video domain.  Are you sure it is being used to host ads?

    Regarding Cisco Umbrella, see https://umbrella.cisco.com/products/packages
It seems to start at $38.00 per user, per year, min.10 users, i.e. $380 per year.  It is merely thought for corporations and institutions.

Well, if I had started with disbelief like you, I wouldn't have gotten rid of the ads, would have I?

Obviously, it is not raining cats and dogs, so I will only consider a trench coat! so how much does this Vip cost? and better yet, why isn't there an ads category to block?

The plan for the home versions inc. VIP: https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/

I don't know why the category advertisements cannot be blocked.  You had to ask OpenDNS staff.
