How to block YouTube App for Android Phone WITHOUT blocking it on PC?

    You have exactly two options:

    • Either configure OpenDNS on the Android device only, not on the router.
    • Or configure OpenDNS on the router, but another (non-OpenDNS) DNS service on the PC.

    Actually, I just blocked youtubei.googleapis.com and it worked PERFECTLY!

    Hmm, I did not expect that the domain name was the question, but the place were to configure OpenDNS in your environment...

    Regarding this new topic of domain names, there's already another thread:

    The domain youtubei.googleapis.com is not listed there, so therefore thanks for bringing this solution up!  Btw, the real name of the alias (CNAME) youtubei.googleapis.com is googleapis.l.google.com.
