DDNS IPv6 address through DDNS-O-Matic
Hello
I have noticed that in 2016 a request was being supported to provide IPv6 DDNS support through DDNS-O-Matic. Back then although supporting IPv6, updates could not take effect through DNS-O-Matic to providers supporting the protocol. 2-3 years on has there been any change?
I have noticed that my service provider (BT Internet) provides me with a dynamic IPv6 prefix, and changes do occur. Therefore DDNS is required for IPv6.
Many thanks in advance and apologies if there4 is already an up to date answer.

You likely refer to my idea, right? https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/220022047
Well, they have recently implemented full IPv6 support for Umbrella, and I have been told that OpenDNS and DNS-O-Matic will now follow. No ETA has been given.

Why is it taking so long to add IPv6 support? It isn't like this is new. IPv6 has been around for almost two decades, adopted almost a decade ago. In fact, it has been the industry standard for over 4 years now. Currently, I have to use dual stacks because the industry is so slow to adopt the technology. Sadly in the meantime, I push IPv6 updates via cron.
