Error when trying to activate Parental Controls on Netgear Nighthawk - Disappearing Requests
I discovered my new router seems to be associated with someone else's OpenDNS Account. When I try to activate the parental controls it says, "This device appears to be registered to another OpenDNS User."
Following the suggested instructions in the community, I created a Support Request. I attached the screen shots requested by the FAQ page referenced in the error message as well as the serial number and proof of purchase. The KB link I was referred to is https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227987587
I have submitted three tickets in the last several days. Each time I have submitted the supporting documents. The tickets only show for one day in my activities on the OpenDNS website, and I get no email confirmation. Then the next day they are gone. Are they working on this issue, or just deleting the tickets? How do I know if the fix is in process, or if there is an alternative route for contact? Thanks!

Unfortunately we other users cannot help you either. You need to be patient. The usual response time is 72 hours during business days but can be longer depending on the number of tickets they get. And there is no alternative route for contact unless you purchased an extended support package.
Another thing is that your tickets seem to disappear. This is unusual. Tickets may be closed, but they don't disappear. And if something changes with a ticket, you get an e-mail notification too. I still can see my tickets from years ago.
You find your tickets here: https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/requests
Or maybe here? https://support.umbrella.com/hc/en-us/requests
