Getting error updating opendns WAN IP in tomato router

    If you can't fix it in Tomato, I suggest to reconfigure Tomato to send your updates through DNS-O-Matic instead of directly to OpenDNS.  This should work.

    I updated the router to update dns-o-matic and it showed me success. I used the same userid/password which I have for opendns and in  host I put this "all.dnsomatic.com".

    Although it showed me success, I want to make this is the correct procedure to update opendns via dns-o-matic ?

    This sounds correct.  You should have configured OpenDNS as service at DNS-O-Matic.  Then you have a log at DNS-O-Matic which shows the recent updates.  https://www.dnsomatic.com/

    thanks for your help. yes I verified in dnsomatic it shows in history that it updated it.

    Do you know if this will eventually be resolved with opendns or that is on hold if you are aware of any updates. I am sure lots of people must be having this issue as I saw from the links you provided.

    Sorry, no idea, I'm just a user like you.  You would have to contact OpenDNS via support ticket to get an individual answer.

    I personally was not impacted by this, because I generally update via DNS-O-Matic as you do now.  I was just helping others escalating this issue.
